> Voice Mail

An easy to use Voice Mail package that allows you to easily access new messages while at home or away from home. You can listen to or store messages for later retrieval.

You can have up to 1 Family and 4 additional mailboxes so each member of the family can get private messages. Special features like Group Lists allow you to send one message to a group of friends quickly and easily. Voice Mail also gives you extended, maximum message length of 4 minutes and a maximum of 45 messages.

Extension Mailboxes
Unlike an answering machine, D&E Jazzd Voice Mail allows you to assign extension mailboxes, so that callers can leave a message for a particular person or purpose. If you want, you can assign up to four extension mailboxes for your household.

For example, you can set up your service so that callers leaving a message hear, "Please leave your message for the Martin family at the beep. Or, to leave a message for Kate [the teenage daughter], press 1. To leave a message for Tom or Carol [the parents], press 2. To RSVP to the family reunion, press 3."

Using the family mailboxes feature is optional. To activate it, call Customer Service and indicate how many family mailboxes you would like to set up. You may have up to five mailboxes: one main mailbox, plus four family mailboxes.

Group Distribution Lists
Rather than calling each person and repeating your message, record a single message and deliver it to multiple mailboxes by creating a group distribution list. This feature is particularly useful for groups (sports teams, church groups, clubs, etc.), enabling them to communicate meeting times or cancellations quickly, easily, and efficiently. You can save up to 15 group distribution lists, with up to 60 addresses per list.

• Security code-  Manage your login security code to prevent others from accessing your mailbox.
• Message Me-  Lets you forward messages received in your voice mailbox directly to an email address or to your multimedia enabled handset.
• Greetings-  Allows you to customize and change the greeting your callers will hear when they reach your mailbox.
• Message Playback-  Choose how your messages will be played for you.
• Broadcast Lists.  Used to send a message to multiple mailboxes, telephone numbers, or fax addresses using a single broadcast list number.
• Personal Fax-  Allows you to direct faxes received in your mailbox to any fax machine.
• Mailbox status-  Allows you to decide whether or not callers can leave messages after they hear your recorded greeting.
