> Do you currently have DSL service on the telephone number you are transferring to Jazzd Phone?

Jazzd Phone Service cannot transfer a number that is associated with a DSL line. DSL providers require customers to maintain an active phone line in order to have DSL service.   If you transfer your active line that is associated with the DSL service, you will no longer have the high-speed access you need to be a Jazzd Phone customer.

What can I do to subscribe to Jazzd Phone service if I have DSL service?
There are two options if you have DSL service on the phone number you wish to transfer. You can either transfer your DSL service to another phone line, or you can switch from DSL to Cable Internet service. If you wish to keep your DSL service, you can contact your phone company to have your DSL service moved to another line. The basic steps to do this are:

  1. Order a second phone line from your current provider. Please note that you can set this up with basic service (limited local and no long distance) to minimize the expense of this line.
  2. Have the DSL service moved to the new phone line. Please be sure your current provider does not cancel or disconnect your original line. Jazzd Phone cannot transfer a number that has been cancelled or disconnected.
  3. Submit the transfer request with Jazzd Phone for your original line.
