D&E Jazzd Phone Service provides all our customers a free Phone Adapter to use with our service. This device converts your existing phone signal into a digital signal that can be sent over your broadband connection, enabling you to make calls. Without the Phone Adapter, the service will not work.

Included with your Phone Adapter is an easy-to-follow set of instructions. Simply follow the step-by-step process to hook up your phone. Just plug in the power supply, plug in your phone adapter, plug in your phone, and connect it to your broadband line. The Phone Adapter will receive a signal from the Internet, then you will be able to make and receive calls. This process may take a minute or two. Similar to a traditional land line phone, you will hear a dial tone signal, and then you can make and receive calls.

Once you plug in your free Phone Adapter, you’re good to go. Just use your existing touch-tone phone, and start calling your friends and family. Your D&E Jazzd Phone Service is portable. Simply take the phone adapter with you to a new location. Remember, you’ll still need a broadband connection and an analog phone. You can use it anywhere you have a high-speed Internet connection. Bring it anywhere you travel and you won’t pay Long Distance rates when you call back home. Your Phone Adapter is still assigned your local home phone number.

For example, let's say that you live in Lancaster and bring your Phone Adapter with you on a trip to California. With D&E Jazzd Phone Service you can call your next-door neighbor from California and it's priced like a local domestic call. This is also true when your neighbor calls you.
