The Jazzd Phone Service uses a new technology called Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) that sends calls over a high-speed Internet connection instead of using a traditional telephone network. You may call anyone, anytime, just like you did before.
A DSL or high-speed cable Internet connection, a regular telephone and a Phone Adapter (which we supply for free), are required for service.
- The computer doesn’t have to be on for you to make calls.
- Use your regular or cordless touchtone phone.
- Set-up is easy and takes just a few minutes.
- The Phone Adapter is supplied for use with the service.
Please note: This service relies on the constant connection of a broadband service, if power or the Internet connection is interrupted, the Jazzd Phone Service will not work. Calls received during an outage, will automatically be sent to Voice Mail.
