Call Waiting keeps you from missing calls when your line is busy. Now you can keep using your phone even if you’re expecting a call, and you won’t have trouble getting through when you’re calling home. Call Waiting alerts you with a “beep” signal if someone tries to reach you while you’re on your phone. You can place the first caller on hold while you answer the second call, and when you’re through, you can switch back to the first call and continue talking, even if you’re waiting for another important call. You can even temporarily deactivate Call Waiting when you don’t want a call to be interrupted.
